She graduated from CSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. After a brief stint in Arizona, she returned to Pagosa Springs to practice.

Amy moved to Pagosa Springs in the summer of 1995. She met her husband Rok Wilson, who is a native to Pagosa Springs, and was married in 1996 and they started a family shortly after. Amy has 2 daughters, Shannel who attends college at Colorado Mesa University, Devin who is a high school student and athlete, and Briggs who is in elementary school.

Shaina was born & raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Pagosa Springs in 2005. Shaina started working at the San Juan Veterinary Hospital in the spring of 2010 and has also worked at Wolf Creek Ski Area in the ski rental shop since 2005. When she's not working Shaina enjoys spending time in the mountains with outdoor activities such as hiking with her 2 dogs Finn and Raven, rock climbing and skiing.
Tina and her husband Dean ran away from the craziness of the Front Range in August 2017. They have five dogs, one cat-dog, and three horses. Tina and her dog Hondo are a therapy team and volunteer at the Ruby M. Sisson Library Paws to reading program. They are also a crisis response team with Hope Animal-Assisted Crisis Response. In her spare time, Tina trains Hondo's understudy, Muppet, rides her horse and enjoys winter skiing and SUP in the summer.

Michelle and her husband Jimmy previously lived in Punta Gorda, Florida before relocating to Pagosa Springs and joining the San Juan Veterinary Hospital team in 2004. In Florida, Michelle had worked as a small animal veterinary technician for 15 years. Michelle and Jimmy have 2 horses, 1 dog, and 3 cats that keep them very busy. When she is not working Michelle spends her time camping, hiking, and packing the horses into the mountains

Sandra was born and raised in Pagosa Springs Colorado. She received a Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is currently taking online classes to become certified as a veterinary technician. Sandra had worked at Aspen Tree Veterinary Clinic since 2013, and in December of 2015, she came to work at San Juan Veterinary Hospital when the two practices merged.
Kaylee FitzwaterVeterinary Technician
Kaylee was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Pagosa Springs in 2002 when she was 7 years old. She graduated from Pagosa Springs High School in 2013. Kaylee started working at San Juan Veterinary Hospital as a volunteer when she was in high school, then moved up to a kennel attendant during the summers while in college. When returning from college at Eastern Wyoming College, she became a veterinary technician in May of 2015. She attributes her love of animals to her many years of involvement in the local 4-H. In her free time, Kaylee enjoys trail riding and barrel racing with her horse Memphis and spending time with her 4 dogs, Spanky, Hoss, Ava, and Jax.

Shaun was born and raised in the Denver Metro area and moved to Pagosa Springs with her husband Jeremy in the spring of 2018 to be closer to all of the Colorado outdoor activities they enjoy. A graduate of the Metropolitan State University of Denver, Shaun has a degree in Photojournalism but fell in love with working with animals while managing a dog boarding facility as a student.
Paige LehrerKennel Attendant
Paige was born and raised in Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2013 with a Marketing and Management degree. While working and traveling in Australia she realized her life would be much more fulfilled by working with animals. She worked in Canine Rehabilitation for nearly three years before moving to Alaska in March of 2017 to handle and train Iditarod sled dogs. In December, Paige moved to Pagosa Springs to continue working with sled dogs closer to home and pursue her dream to become a certified vet tech. Paige join San Juan Vet Hospital in July of 2018 as a Kennel Attendant.
